Tourism in Brasilia

Brasilia, city park, heritage and life

The original layout and the beautiful buildings designed by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer made the capital the first modern city to be inscribed on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List in December 1987. A city with homogeneous buildings, wide, tree-lined streets, parks and sectors designed for the well-being of the population and visitors.
